Baptism is a symbol of your new life as a Christian. We bury the 'old life’ and we rise to walk in a 'new life’. Like a wedding ring, baptism is the outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart, a commitment that has to be followed through and lived out on a daily basis.
As soon as you decide to believe in Christ, you are encouraged to be baptized.
Open Gate follows the biblical model of baptism, which is by water immersion. If you were sprinkled as a baby, we invite you to be baptized biblically. One is never too old to be baptized.
