We are an nondenominational, stand-alone church that associates with the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches.
We are modeled after a biblical leadership structure. The Pastor and Elders are assisted by Lay Pastors. (Elder role, not elder rule.) We are team driven.
If you are not comfortable with traditional services or maybe you have never attended church, come by and visit with us.

Our Members
We are a family of cowboys, cowgirls, and country folks that are in love with Jesus.
Our membership is very diversified. There are members who have never even been on a horse! The cowboy culture welcomes folks who may not feel comfortable, for their own personal reasons, in a conventional church. You are always welcome no matter where you come from, what your background is, or even what you’re wearing.
Everyone is welcome into our family at Open Gate.
Our Mission
Open Gate Cowboy Church will follow the great commission to the letter of the law.
Our fellowship is primarily an outreach ministry to the cowboys & country folk in our area, but our doors are open to everyone. Many of those in our congregation regularly travel to rodeos and play days, both to compete and to witness to the changes that God has made in their lives.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God sent his Son to die for our sins
The only way to have a relationship with God and to have a place in heaven is to believe Jesus Christ as your own personal savior. You must repent of your sins and believe in Him. Jesus was crucified, he died, and he was buried. On the third day he rose from the dead and went to heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God. There will be a judgment day when everyone on earth, living and dead, is judged. Christ will come back to set up his kingdom on earth. Only those who believe in Christ will be saved.
Salvation
Free gift we all need — Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
Baptism
Act of obedience and public confession of Christ.
Fully dipping a person in water to symbolize dying to an old life,
being buried with Christ, and rising to a new life in Him,
mirroring Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection.
